Biofilters: A Better System & More Space at No Extra Cost.
Approved by Service NL as a standard sewage disposal treatment system for onsite wastewater, the Clarity Biofilter uses advanced filtering technology to naturally process wastewater resulting in a cleaner effluent that won't contaminate the surrounding soil or water sources.
Conventional septic systems require a large leach field to filter wastewater. Service NL also requires you leave space for an additional leach field in case the primary field fails.
Wastewater from a Clarity Biofilter has already been sufficiently purified, which means our diffuser field is up to 75% smaller than a conventional leach field.
This feature reduces the need for costly excavations and frees up a significant amount of space that can be used for accessory buildings, vehicle parking and even a bigger house.
Our in-tank purification process also eradicates contamination of surrounding soil or water sources so you don't have to worry about nasty odours or expensive maintenance and repairs.
So what does this mean for you?
- Installing a Clarity Biofilter means you can reclaim your yard from your septic system. As our diffuser field is up to 75% smaller than a standard leach field, this space can be used for a larger house or outside buildings such as garages or sheds.
- Reduced costs for excavations, clear cutting and landscaping when making room for the system. See cost comparison table below.
- Because the effluent is so clean, you won't have to worry about odours or costly maintenance and repairs for problematic leach field failures.
If you're thinking of building your home, you might need a septic plan before gaining a building permit. Building lots in unserviced areas need approval for the installation of a sewage disposal system and well. Clarity Aquatech is an approved designer and can help you prepare lot plans and specifications to be submitted to the Government Service Centre for approval.
